Writing sales proposals: making sales for your clients

by Angela on August 26, 2007

Writing proposals can be a very profitable part of your copywriting services business.

Companies make proposals of various kinds in their dealings with other companies. Because proposals are sales material, a copywriter is often asked to write them.

A common type of proposal you may be asked to write is a sales proposal. Your client is close to selling a product or service, so the sales proposal is a cross between a presentation, a report, and a quote.

However, your client may also ask you to write a sales proposal in response for a Request For Proposals (RFP).

Writing sales proposals can be a highly lucrative process for your copywriting services business, because sales proposals often involve deals of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
